DIPLOMA OVERVIEW
An internationally-recognised, four-year diploma
Four full-time, eight-week terms per year

Daily classes
Speech eurythmy
The elements of spoken word are unraveled and given new depth as they are transformed into dynamic movement
Tone eurythmy
The elements of music and melody are granted new meaning with respect to physical motion and space
Twice weekly
Speech and Drama
Voice training as exploration of dynamic movement inherent in phonemes, breath, phrasing. Stage presence, character, and physical storytelling
Music Theory
Pitch, rhythm, dynamics, intervals, harmonies, timbre and arrangement
Weekly
Copper rods
Self, spacial and social awareness as well as dexterity and control in movement and balance and grace in gesture.
Choral singing
Putting music theory into practice: rhythm, harmonies and listening skills.
Form drawing
The formative principles active in the movements of the natural world are grasped and practised in the two dimensional space, also the choreographic principles of eurythmy, that give rise to a kind of complex ‘map-making’ for word, poetry and music.
Biodynamic gardening
Observation is a critical skill for eurythmy, and the dynamic growth forms of plants are wonderful studies. The great food is a bonus!

The Diploma.
QUALIFICATION.
Graduating students will receive a Diploma of Eurythmy from Pacifica College co-signed by the International Association of Eurythmy Trainings.
